Description

KEY FEATURES

pressure and temperature on garmin mfd

EnviroLink is a smart NMEA 2000 environmental sensor integrating high-precision barometric, temperature and humidity sensors. EnviroLink is designed for sailors who want accurate, real-time insight into local weather conditions directly on board.

EnviroLink continuously measures atmospheric pressure, ambient temperature and relative humidity, then broadcasts this data instantly to your multifunction displays and chartplotters connected to the NMEA 2000 network.

More than a simple sensor, EnviroLink becomes a true onboard weather station.

Thanks to its integrated built-in web interface, all measurements can be viewed in real time from a smartphone, tablet or computer connected to the EnviroLink’s Wi-Fi network.

Clear and intuitive graphs show how pressure, temperature and humidity evolve over time, making it easy to identify trends over the last minutes or days. The system automatically calculates barometric tendencies, helping you anticipate approaching weather changes and make safer navigation decisions.

EnviroLink stores all data locally and works completely autonomously, without any cloud service or Internet connection. Historical records can be downloaded at any time in CSV format for later analysis or for keeping a personal onboard weather log. Whether you are cruising, racing or navigating offshore, you always have access to your own local weather history.

The high-precision barometric sensor measures atmospheric pressure from 300 to 1100 hPa with excellent resolution and accuracy, while the temperature and humidity sensors provide reliable readings across a wide range of marine conditions.

By continuously monitoring pressure variations, thermal evolution and humidity levels, EnviroLink helps detect approaching weather fronts, anticipate deteriorating conditions and complement external forecasts with precise, real-time local data.

It gives sailors a reliable and independent onboard weather monitoring system.

OPERATION

EnviroLink features a built-in web interface that can be accessed from any smartphone, tablet or computer connected to the local network. The interface displays real-time measurements and provides configurable trend graphs over 10 minutes, 24 hours and 48 hours, allowing you to easily monitor changing conditions.

It automatically calculates the barometric, temperature and humidity rate of change, supports time-zone selection, synchronizes all data with local time, and allows historical weather data to be downloaded in CSV format for analysis and record keeping.

Sales FAQs

What does EnviroLink do?
−

EnviroLink is a marine weather station that continuously measures barometric pressure, temperature and humidity and broadcasts this data directly onto your NMEA 2000 network and connected multifunction displays (MFDs) and chartplotters.

Does EnviroLink require any special wires or power supplies?
−

No additional power or wires are required. EnviroLink takes its power from the existing NMEA 2000 backbone and installs easily as a plug-and-play device.

How do I view EnviroLink data onboard?
−

EnviroLink broadcasts to NMEA 2000 displays and chartplotters. You can also access the built-in web interface from any smartphone, tablet, or laptop connected to EnviroLink’s local Wi-Fi network without needing Internet access.

Which NMEA 2000 messages (PGNs) are transmitted by EnviroLink?
−

EnviroLink transmits the following NMEA 2000 PGNs:

  • PGN 130313 – Humidity

  • PGN 130314 – Actual Pressure

  • PGN 130316 – Temperature, Extended

  • PGN 130311 – Environmental Parameters (Deprecated)

Is EnviroLink compatible with all NMEA 2000 networks?
−

Yes. EnviroLink complies with the NMEA 2000 standard and works with all NMEA 2000 certified equipment. It is also compatible with the Raymarine SeaTalkNG standard via an NMEA 2000 to SeaTalkNG connector adapter (Raymarine part number: A06045).

Does EnviroLink replace a traditional barometer or weather station?
−

EnviroLink goes beyond simple instantaneous measurement. It combines a precision barometric sensor, NMEA2000 broadcasting and long-term trend analysis.

Its main value lies in monitoring trends (pressure rising or falling), which is far more relevant for weather anticipation at sea than an isolated reading.

What is the purpose of the displayed pressure rate of change?
−

The barometric rate of change is a key indicator for anticipating weather changes.

A rapid pressure drop may indicate approaching bad weather, while a gradual rise often signals improving conditions.
EnviroLink automatically calculates and displays this rate to help sailors quickly interpret the local weather situation.

Are the EnviroLink's data accessible without an Internet connection?
−

Yes, EnviroLink operates fully autonomously.

Measurements are stored locally and accessible via the built-in web interface, without any cloud or external server. Data can be exported in CSV format at any time, even at sea and without an Internet connection.
